A Crushing Workout

Last Thursday Deni joined Coach Josh and myself for a killer yet simple workout:

10 Thrusters
10 Pull-ups
As many rounds as possible in 20 minutes.

Deni and I did jumping pull-ups, and we had to vary the weight on the thrusters as needed. Josh and Deni did front squats instead of thrusters, to take it easy on the shoulder joints – Josh at around 95 lbs and Deni at around 20 lbs. I did thrusters with 30 lbs. In the 90+ degree heat of the sweaty FAHB garage, we were all drenched after the first minute. Deni and I both completed 12 rounds, and Josh completed 13.

Making us proud, novice Deni crushed the workout, which she reinforced by literally crushing Josh under her foot. Testosterone and Davidic physique ultimately crumbled under the pressure of true feminine strength…
